Hi all, it’s been a very busy time here at BrickBox HQ with lots going on behind the scenes. We have been undertaking several builds for a new client which you might see popping up at any new or refurbished branches of MKM stores shortly. As well as this we will be returning to Gloucester and the wonderful Folk Of Gloucester community heritage centre with the start of a project to build a recreation of Gloucester Castle! We are starting with the castle Keep, including having cut away sections so you can see how people lived in Medieval times. This will be on display during the National Archeology Festival from July 15th to July 30th at the Folk Of Gloucester and we will be delivering workshops on the 29th and 30th July to accompany the build. Plans are afoot to add to the Castle Keep next year and to create the full Castle which, if it goes ahead, will be one of the biggest builds we have ever undertaken!
Whilst this has been keeping us busy building we’ve also been working on planning upcoming workshops, including several for private clients, a speed building workshop which will be taking place at DARTS in Doncaster on July 8th and several workshops at The Treasure House in Beverley in July and August. As if this wasn’t enough we will also be displaying at our home show, The Hull Brick Festival on Saturday 12th August! Phew, think we’ll need a break after all that.
